A 77-year-old man was arrested on Friday, November 22, suspected of having shot and killed a 60-year-old man in a McDonald's in Paris, in the 18th arrondissement, France Bleu Paris learned from the Paris prosecutor's office, confirming information from the Parisian. An investigation is opened for “assassination”, it has been entrusted to the Parisian judicial police.
Entering the McDonald's, the man fired two shots towards the victim's head, a police source told France Bleu Paris. The victim was hit in the head, confirmed the prosecution, also indicating that investigators had found “a revolver and two rounds of ammunition (…) on the spot”. The main suspect in this case was arrested at the scene of the murder, he was arrested without putting up any resistance, added the public prosecutor and the police source.
Concerning the reason for this gesture, “the suspect blames the victim for having threatened him following a debt”indicated a source close to the case, adding that the two men had no criminal record.
