Almost a year ago to the day, on November 25, 2023, the town of Pouzauges (Vendée) was shaken by a spectacular robbery committed by three individuals. A year later, investigations point to another actor: a man suspected of having organized the operation. He was indicted, according to West France Thursday November 21, 2024.
Justice mentioned a “anchoring in a form of organized delinquency”. This new element relaunches the investigation, while the pre-trial detention of the three robbers has been extended to avoid any consultation.
A chase
As a reminder, in November 2023, they broke into the Caillaud jewelry store to steal jewelry. Their escape, marked by dangerous driving in a stolen vehicle, gave rise to a chase in this town of 5,000 inhabitants. The gendarmes ended up arresting them. Among the three men, one was a minor at the time of the events.
