The first snowfall and frost on Thursday, November 21 caused great disorder: road accidents, school transportation suspended, homes deprived of electricity. The orange snow-ice alert ended this Friday at noon. But Météo France maintains yellow vigilance until midday on Saturday.
For a few hours, with the appearance of the sun after a cloudy sky, the snow and ice have started to melt. Temperatures are positive around 3 degrees. But tonight, negative temperatures returned (between -1 and -7 degrees).
There are numerous low clouds in the morning over a large northern part of the region while the sky is simply hazy over the south of Nièvre and Saône-et-Loire. Thanks to clearings, temperatures are very low at daybreak on the snow-covered ground.
The yellow snow-ice vigilance is maintained until Saturday, November 23 at noon. During the day, the cloud cover extends over the entire region but the sun struggles to break through. Temperatures rise to reach 12 degrees to the west of Nièvre. A warm spell will occur during the night.

From this Sunday, there will be a somewhat radical change in temperatures. The sun will appear across the whole of Burgundy. LThe mercury will continue to rise to reach 16/17 degrees during the day in Saône-et-Loire, Nièvre and Yonne.
Only the Côte-d'Or does not seem to benefit from such a sharp rise in temperatures with “only” 13 degrees on average.
