A tribute to Georges Clemenceau in Mouchamps, Vendée, in the presence of Bruno Retailleau

Georges Clemenceau died on November 24, 1929. 95 years later, a tribute was paid to “Father Victoire” at the Colombier in Mouchamps, where he is buried. The Minister of the Interior, Bruno Retailleau will go there to “remember his heritage”. A delegation from the Meuse is also expected.

For the 95th anniversary of his death, Georges Clemenceau receives a tribute in Mouchamps (Vendée), this Sunday, November 24. The ceremony will begin in the village of Colombier, the Vendéen's resting place, at 10 a.m., and will continue at 11:15 a.m. at the Salle des Nymphéas. Patrick Mandin, mayor of Mouchamps, announces “the unveiling of an urn in memory of the First World War, offered by the martyr village of Fleury-devant-Douaumont”.
