The Nîmes Métropole Jazz Festival hits the road again to meet the public and the municipalities of Nimes Metropolis for its 18th edition, September 20 to October 19, 2024in order to offer memorable evenings around all styles of jazz.
From 2006the Nîmes Métropole Jazz Festival (NMJF) has established itself as a must-see on the Mediterranean jazz scene. Each year, it attracts renowned artists, both local and international, as well as a diverse and intergenerational audience. This year, the NMJF will highlight the theme « Afro – Jazz & Soul »an exploration of the African roots of 20th and 21st century popular music, coupled with influences from blues and soul.
A festival that draws its strength and character from what makes its DNA, the roaming from town to town and the richness of its programming. The NMJF has established itself as an essential festival in the Mediterranean basin.

A busy schedule
A complete and festive program awaits visitors. This includes varied concerts that will take place in emblematic venues such as La Paloma as well as in more intimate locations in the heart of the participating municipalities. In total, 14 concerts will be organized in 12 different municipalities, allowing young and old to find what they are looking for among the 28 local and international groups present. Screenings, Jazz aperitifs, Record Fair, musical instrument fair in La Calmette and final of the Tremplin Jazz are also planned.
