The Orne prefecture has banned the circulation of all vehicles on a portion of the A28 located between exits 15 and 17, from Gacé to Orbec (Calvados). Heavy goods vehicles, trapped by snow and ice, found themselves jackknifed on the tracks. Traffic is degraded across the entire network in the department.

The trouble continues. Traffic conditions on the road network are further degraded in the Orne department, this Friday, November 22, 2024. Secondary roads are still impassable, while the Orne prefecture announces the complete closure of a portion of the road. 'A28 between exit 15 and 17, in both directions. All vehicles, heavy or light, must exit at Sées and Orbec (Calvados).
