In a month, it will be time to celebrate with Christmas festivities. In Uzège Pont du Gard in the different municipalities, markets, nurseries and activities are on the program from this Saturday, November 23. Here is the program for the next few days (This is a non-exhaustive list).
Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 November
Two magical days are on the program on November 23 and 24 in Remoulins. They will open with the inauguration at 10 a.m. Provençal Christmas village at the Saint-Martin chapel. Throughout the duration of the exhibition, santon casting workshops will be offered.
The Christmas market will open its doors from 3 p.m. with around thirty exhibitors. Pony rides, inflatable games, duck fishing stand, face painting, cotton candy, meeting with the Santa Claus will be on the program until 9 p.m.
And fireworks will be shot from the sports complex plain at 7 p.m., followed by the parade from the town hall square and the results of the competition for the three most beautiful disguises.
The next day, from 9 a.m., it's time for a boules competition in the arena. Exhibitors will again be present throughout the day and a theater show by Company XXIIe century will be proposed.
From November 27
In Montfrin, the magic of Christmas will invade the village until December 31. From a Provençal village with illuminations, to the indoor Christmas village, through the journey of five worlds, without forgetting candy and games, young and old will be amazed.

Friday November 29
The long-term care unit is organizing its Christmas market in the hospital hall on Friday November 29. Items made by patients will be available for purchase as well as pastries.
The profits will be intended for the association Le temps de vivrewhich helps finance activities within the unit.
Saturday November 30
In Saint-Hilaire-d'Ozilhan, a Christmas market will immerse residents in the magic of Christmas from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Local exhibitors present. A hairdressing workshop, makeup, inflatable structure and pony rides will be offered. Without forgetting the arrival of Santa Claus from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Place du Conquet/old church. The funds raised will finance actions in favor of the children of the village school.
From November 30 to 1is December
In Pouzilhac, the association Promotion of arts and culture suggests diving into the Christmas traditions in Provence.
On the 30th, from 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., presentation of Provençal Christmas customs and rituals and Provençal nativity scene decorated with figurines offered by the inhabitants of the village since the 90s.
The 1is December, the program includes a trip among Provençal costumes from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Readings of Provençal Christmas tales and stories accompanied by a gaboulet-tambourin will take place from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
