From July 2 to 7, the Pause Guitare Festival with an exceptional program
The Pause Guitare Sud de France festival was born in 1997 in Monestiés, a small village in Tarn.
In its early days, the festival hosted classical guitarists who played in front of an audience of 150 people.
In 2006 it was exported to the foot of the Sainte Cécile d’Albi cathedral, still in the Tarn, and since 2013 it has taken place at the Pratgraussals leisure center, welcoming the big stage and the headliners.
Pause Guitare Sud de France also has several stages in the city center and outside the city, for its off-site part where emerging artists perform.
Pause Guitare is one of those big festivals that make festival-goers dream and enchant artists.

It is one of the 2 biggest summer events in the Region. and the Pause Guitare Festival has been offering us exceptional concerts for over 20 years on 10 stages, Pratgraussals (17,000 seats), the Grand Théâtre, the Athanor, the Scène Acadiènne, the Scène Pollux, the Scène Talents de Quartiers, de Bars en Bars, Maison de Quartier de Lapanouse, the Café Plùm and the Fête du livre de Pampelonne.
