Having become one of the traditions of the Brévinois calendar, the distribution of Saint Catherine's trees is held on Saturday. During this morning, residents are invited to come and collect plants but also compost for their gardens (bring a container and a maximum of 50 liters per person).

This year, the town is particularly encouraging the replanting of pines but is offering various species: cedars, oaks, hornbeams, maples, walnuts, lime trees, chestnut trees, hazel trees, elderberries, arbutus trees, fig trees… However, the town reminds that these tall trees are in no way intended for the creation of hedges
and invites you to plan the future location of your tree now, taking into account the height and spread of the crown, all of the adult foliage, as well as its light needs
et to respect a planting distance of at least two meters at the property line and more if possible
