Since 7 a.m. this morning, the prefect of Orne has brought together the security and rescue forces and public services concerned by the management of the event in the crisis unit at the prefecture (departmental operational center – COD) in order to monitor the event and take the necessary measures.
In total, 72 firefighters, 60 gendarmes and a national police crew are involved in interventions.
On the national network as on the main departmental network, salting operations are in progress. Around thirty machines winter treatmentl hired by the departmental council since the end of the night have been continuously treating the main roads.
