An 18-year-old young woman was allegedly the victim of rape in Évry-Courcouronnes (Essonne) on Sunday November 17, 2024. According to information revealed by The Parisian the events took place in the middle of the street around 5:30 p.m. A man approached her while she was walking near a footbridge.

No arrests yet

He allegedly grabbed her arm before punching her several times. Then he allegedly pushed her to the ground and raped her. The suspect then fled and the young woman immediately contacted the police. She was taken to hospital to have her injuries assessed.

An investigation was opened to determine the precise circumstances of the facts and identify the suspect. He had still not been arrested on Wednesday November 20, according to our colleagues.
