This Saturday, June 29 and Sunday, June 30, the French Glider Flight Federation is organizing its “It planes for them” event. Women and girls interested in aviation are thus invited by the Auch Vélivole Center, which is participating in the event, to take part in these days dedicated to meetings and exchanges.
Promote aviation to a female audience. This is the goal of the French Gliding Federation with its event “It planes for them”. These June 29 and 30, Gers women and girls interested in gliders are invited to the Auch Vélivole Center between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. to take part in the operation.

The 2024 edition advocates meeting and exchanging with the women pilots of the club. “They have a lot to share and are keen to break stereotypes,” says Clothilde Sevestre, communications manager at the Auch Vélivole Centre.
A small exhibition on female pilots and female members will also take place. Introductory flights will also be offered at 85 euros for girls/women and 95 euros for their companions.
