Langon town hall and the Gironde Prefecture call for caution
In a press release published on Facebook, around 7 p.m., Langon town hall calls for caution. “Limit your travel. Limit your speed on road and highway. Do not walk in the forest and on the coast. In town, be vigilant of possible falling objects. Do not work on roofs and under no circumstances touch electrical wires that have fallen to the ground,” Langon town hall expressly recommends.
Same slogan from the Gironde Prefecture.
Operators of campsites, marquees and organizers of outdoor events are invited to take all measures to ensure the safety of people and property.
The lifting of orange vigilance is expected at the start of the evening, around 8 p.m..
