Bomb alert in Brussels: Parc metro station reopened

We learned this Wednesday evening that a central metro station was closed.

Brussels metro station Parc was closed after a bomb threat. It is unknown whether there is a link with the letters with suspicious content received this Wednesday at State Security and the Interior Cabinet, whose buildings are located in the same area.

Metro lines 1 and 5 were interrupted between Central Station and Arts-Loi, and the Parc tram station is not served, added the Brussels transport network. “Federal and local police are on site with dogs to carry out a sweep”said the federal police.

We learned around 9:10 p.m. that Parc station had been reopened. “Traffic has just been restored”confirmed the Stib

Another bomb threat took place late Thursday morning at the Simonis metro station.

The sweep carried out by federal police dogs was negative.
