Farmers of Lot-et-Garonne multiply the punching actions on this Wednesday, November 20, 2024. After spending Tuesday near the prefecture, they decided to join to block strategic points.

At midday, the farmers, under the aegis of Rural Coordination 47 (CR 47) took a break in Marmande to have lunch before heading back to .

A procession of 50 tractors stopped in front of Leclerc

These are in all nearly 50 tractors and a few vehicles who stopped in the parking lot of the Leclerc store, on the outskirts of town. Nearly 150 people thus took the snack.

While the Leclerc purchasing center in Beychac-et-Caillau, in Gironde, has already been targeted by CR 33, members of CR 47 left, dumping a few skips in front of the two entrances to the Leclerc store. “They sell our products very, very expensively and buy them for nothing,” lamented José Perez, co-president of CR47.

Tires and all kinds of waste were dumped in front of the store which suffered some damage in the operation. Posts were toppled and a window was cracked under the pressure of a tractor, all while people looked on in disbelief customers who had to exit through emergency exits and shopping center employees.
