Near Valence: Saint-Marcel celebrating and other festivities are coming

At the initiative of the festival committee, several activities are offered. For everyone, for all tastes and above all to share the joy of living in Saint-Marcel-lès-Valence.

The first days of summer promise to be festive for the town. The first meeting is set Saturday June 29 in the MJC park. On site, the Saint-Marcellois and their friends are expected at nightfall to attend an outdoor cinema session. The opportunity to see (or see again) Around the world in 80 days. A festive day

The 4e edition of Saint-Marcel celebrating will take place Saturday July 6. A day full of activities is offered to the Saint-Marcellois as is now tradition. It all starts at midday with the aperitif offered at the town hall square, just to open the festivities in a friendly atmosphere. From 4 p.m., Avenue de Provence comes alive with fair games and other activities offered by local associations and merchants. As a safety measure, Avenue de Provence will be closed to traffic and diversions will be put in place. At 7 p.m., the Renaissance Harmony Orchestra will take over the music and reinforce this festive atmosphere. As in previous editions, Saint-Marcel en fête will once again have its fireworks. He will be pulled around 10:30 p.m. from the roof of the town hall. Friday August 2the festival committee is organizing an evening in Grignan to applaud Story of a Cid, variation around Corneille’s play directed by Jean Bellorini. The last reservations are being registered these days.
