A screaming baby monitor, spitting out the exasperation of a mother overwhelmed by her baby's cries. Then a lull until a noise that we guess is dull, in the bedroom: that of the infant falling to the floor, head first, from the bed shared that night with his mother.
According to our information, this scenario would appear among the hypotheses favored by the gendarmes, who led a 21-year-old woman suspected of mistreatment of her 5-month-old newborn to be indicted on Friday November 15, 2024 in Tours.
Four skull fractures
Placed under judicial supervision, the suspect, originally from Château-la-Vallière, is being prosecuted for “violence against a minor under 15” and “failure to comply with the obligation of caution or safety”.
