Senegal concluded its qualifying campaign for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) with a convincing victory against Burundi, this Tuesday, November 19, at the Abdoulaye Wade Stadium in Diamniadio. A solid performance which confirms their leadership position and their status as favorite in Group L.
The Lions of Teranga won 2-0 thanks to a double from Habib Diarra. The Senegalese midfielder opened the scoring in the 33rd minute, before doubling the lead at the start of the second half, in the 50th minute. This clear and clear success perfectly illustrates the technical and tactical mastery of the team.
