More than 120 exhibitors will be welcomed over the two days of the employment and training forum which is to take place on Tuesday December 3 and Wednesday December 4, 2024 in Langon (Gironde) and which is open to all: public looking for a job or information on training, work-study or orientation. This second edition of this forum will be organized at the Claude-Nougaro space, by the Pôle territorial Sud-Gironde, in partnership with local stakeholders.

The whole program

On the first day, orientation stakeholders will be represented (CIO, Academy, Ausone college, ERIP, Cap Métiers Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Cap solidaire, 100,000 entrepreneurs, Mission Locale du Sud Gironde, Mission Locale des 2 Rives, EPIDE , OPCO EP and Campus Connecté Sud Gironde) as well as training establishments in the form of technical platforms.

The approach is intended to be fun and interactive to facilitate exchanges between young people and professionals.

The organizers

The public will therefore be invited to discover the exhibitors according to their interests:

  • I love nature and life sciences (EPL Bazas Terres de Gascogne, Fibois Landes de Gascogne, Agro Campus Bordeaux-Gironde, ANEFA)

The craft bus and the aerocampus trade plane will be present outside.

Orientation center, continuing education

During the second day, an orientation center will bring together Travail, Cap emploi, Mission Locale Sud-Gironde, Mission Locale des 2 Rives, ERIP, CIBC33, EDEAccess and the Campus Connecté Sud-Gironde.

The meeting of educational establishments

The forum is also the meeting place for educational establishments since 8 middle schools and 5 high schools will participate in the event. More than 1,300 students are expected on the first day, spread over 4 slots (9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. / 10:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. / 1 ​​p.m. to 2:30 p.m. / 2:45 p.m. to 4:15 p.m.).

Continuing education will be represented there with the Ecole Ét, the agricultural training centers of Bazas and Bommes, Beauséjour, Batipro, AFTRAL, IFRIA, GERME, ORFIE, INSUP, ADES Formation and GRETA CFA Aquitaine.

Forum dates and times

This year, the forum is organized over 2 days and will be distributed as follows:

Tuesday December 3 (9 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.) – “orientation” day: school public and young local missions – day by registration only
Wednesday December 4 (9 a.m.-12:30 p.m.) – “training/employment” day: open to the general public (including job seekers, employees undergoing professional retraining, etc.)

More than 50 companies are also expected as part of a job dating event organized in partnership with France Travail and local missions.

The four communities of communes (Sud-Gironde, Réolais en Sud-Gironde, Convergence Garonne and Bazadais) will be grouped with the BGE on the business creation center. The solidarity tie bus will also allow discussions on discrimination in hiring.

Tuesday 3 (reserved for schools, upon registration only) and Wednesday 4 December 2024 (free entry and open to all, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) at the Espace Claude-Nougaro in Langon. On-site catering and free parking.
