A 45-year-old man was fatally struck by a train between Lille and Loos (North), Friday November 15, 2024. According to the site Lille News he would have crossed a level crossing closed for works, accompanied by two friends.
He would have slipped on the rails
They managed to cross the rails before the train arrived. The forty-year-old, for his part, slipped on the rails before being hit, according to information from our colleagues. Despite the rapid intervention of emergency services, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after the accident.
