Former lawyer turned wellness care practitioner, Laurence Hoarau, opened her practice two and a half months ago in the H. TCoiffure hair salon. In collaboration with the salon, where Thary manages the hairdressing section, Laurence devotes herself to well-being through various practices, massages, napsotherapy, and traditional Chinese energy medicine.

Laurence began her career in insurance and banking, before taking a break to look after her children. This period revealed to him the importance of wellness and natural health care in addition to medical care.

Wanting to give meaning to her professional life, she trained at the Institute of Well-being and Natural Health (IBE) in Toulouse, then obtaining a nursing assistant diploma and continuing with training as a childcare assistant. With solid professional experience and a thorough understanding of the different pathologies and skills of health professionals, Laurence turned to luxopuncture, a technique using infrared light to stimulate the body’s reflex points.

Laurence Hoarau firmly believes in the importance of touch, a conviction reinforced by a significant experience in a hospital environment: “I had taken care of a person at the end of life, and after a massage, she took my hand and said to me: ”You know, we don’t get touched like that anymore.” That moment touched me deeply.” Today, Laurence Hoarau puts her expertise at the service of people of all ages, advocating a holistic approach based on nutrition, physical activity and sleep, in order to ensure lasting well-being for her clients.
