Without much surprise, Camryn Rogers won the hammer throw event during the national athletics trials on Wednesday at the Claude-Robillard center in Montreal.
The Canadian, who is the reigning world champion, threw 75.05 meters.
Logic was also respected on the men’s side as Ethan Katzberg finished in first place with a success of 82.60 meters. The 22-year-old Canadian won top honors at the world championships in Budapest in 2023.
