The municipal council of Picauville (Manche) met on Thursday November 14, 2024 within the town hall. The mayor, Marie-Hélène Perrotte, presented to the council the progress of research at the post of general practitioner.
Périers as an example
Like several municipalities in Manche, Picauville looking for a general practitioner for a long time. Ms. Perrotte took stock of the town hall's efforts to find a solution: there was a new announcement this summer and the mayor spoke with his counterpart in Périers.

Ms. Perrotte requested the council's authority to call on a recruitment firm in order to initiate the process of hiring a foreign doctor. The council approved the proposal.
