The Richemont road bridge, at road D 60, between Uckange and Guénange, has been closed since Tuesday, for a duration which has not yet been determined. The cause: the formation of a hole in the middle of the structure.

“The macadam gave way during the day, the hole is large, we can see the through it,” confides Gérard Leonardi, the mayor of Uckange. “In my opinion, the portion should be closed for a long time”

The police and road services, after initially slowing down traffic, closed access.

The closure extends between the Uckange/Richemont exit, at the Guénange roundabout, to the other exit located in Richemont, at Marabout, i.e. in both directions of traffic. Motorists will have to take a detour and head towards Guénange or Mondelange while the work is underway.
