Echoes of the early legislative campaign in the six constituencies of Loiret, four days before the first round, on Sunday June 30

Messages of support to Divine

The passage from the program Envoyé Spécial filmed in Montargis, in which Divine Kinkela, a caregiver, evokes the racist insults to which she is subject from her neighbors, voters of the National Rally, aroused reactions throughout France. We see in particular the neighbor of Divine Kinkela, an official of the Montargis court, saying to her “Go to the doghouse”.

At the entrance to the Montargo town, near the Amilly peanut roundabout, posters have been put up, in support of Divine, and against racism.

The mayor of Montargis, Benoit Digeon (LR), still says he is very shocked: “The unjustifiable has been reached. Nothing can explain such words and I condemn them by pointing out the responsibility of those who inspired such remarks, hidden behind political slogans , who have been fueling hatred and xenophobia for years.”

The mayor of Montargis spoke at length with Divine Kinkela.

A network that is committed

The Human Rights Forum network, chaired by Étienne Delecrin, which brings together 21 associations from Loiret (Amnesty international, the solidarity association with immigrant workers, the Human Rights League, Palestine 45, Family Planning 45… ) promotes dignity, equal rights, respect for peoples and fraternity between citizens of the world. “For the upcoming elections, we call on you to take part in this same process and to affirm your choice of attention to others and an increase in humanity by rejecting all forms of discrimination. You can, through your votes, choose a society where everyone can live, flourish, share, achieve in creativity, fraternity and dignity, with confidence and determination.”

Welcoming committee

On Monday June 24, the outgoing deputy for the fourth constituency Thomas Ménage (Avenir français/National Rally) organized a public meeting at the town hall of Châtillon-Coligny.

According to a witness, in the room, the members of a collective born in Gâtinais after the dissolution and called “Loiret uprising”: “There were people inside, who asked questions, and outside too There were around ten people singing outside. Youth annoys the National Front (the piece by Bérurier noir, created at the end of the 1980s, editor’s note), relates the witness. “The gendarmerie was called and it was the gendarmes who escorted Thomas Ménage out.”

An action relayed by the anti-fascist collective of Orléans on X on Tuesday June 25:

The peasant call

The Loiret peasant confederation is committed against the far-right. In a press release, the organization, which says it is waiting for “a project for the future carrying concrete proposals for farmers”, does not call for voting for one camp. But rejects the far-right project, which “instrumentalizes anger” and constitutes “a danger for our fundamental freedoms and social rights, in particular for women and young people.”

A European MP in Fay-aux-Loges

The Reconquest candidate for the sixth constituency, Isabelle Lamarque, will not be alone, Wednesday June 26 in the morning, in the aisles of the Fay-aux-Loges market. She will be accompanied by Sarah Knafo, Reconquest MEP.

Xavier Bertrand supports Ariel Lévy

Les Républicains (LR) candidate in the fourth constituency of Loiret, Ariel Lévy held a public meeting in Ferrieres-en-Gâtinais on Tuesday June 25. The candidate was able to count on the support of former minister Xavier Bertrand (LR), who made the trip to Gâtinais. “He is a grassroots elected official who has all the qualities to make an excellent deputy because he knows his territory very well,” declared the president of the Hauts-de-France Region. The elected official also spoke after the broadcast of the program Envoyé Spécial and the racist remarks of voters of the National Rally, at the end of last week: “A feeling of shame to hear Marine Le Pen and her candidate that there is nothing racist about these remarks. They are making fun of the world.”
