Six men tried for kidnapping and assaulting a 19-year-old young man in Hérault

Six men were the subject of an immediate appearance on Wednesday November 13, 2024 for acts of kidnapping and sequestration. Three of them having requested a delay, they will finally be judged in 2025 in Béziers (Hérault). They are accused of being involved in the kidnapping in Péret (Hérault) and the beating of a 19-year-old young man last September, indicates Bleu Hérault this Monday, November 18, 2024.

An ambush against a backdrop of drug trafficking

The suspects, aged between 21 and 34, were allegedly hired by a drug trafficker who was convinced that the victim had stolen €20,000 worth of goods from him. The suspects made their target believe that they wanted to buy products from him. A meeting place has been fixed, specifies the radio.

The young man explained that he had been beaten, stripped naked, burned with cigarettes and threatened with dogs by the perpetrators, who claimed to be members of the DZ Mafia to intimidate him. The victim was released around 2 a.m., walked to his parents' house and filed a complaint. He was prescribed five days of ITT.
