Discover the Champion(ne)(s) photographic project, which highlights three athletes and their struggles through the works of photographers from the VU agency, combining self-improvement and social commitment.

Location: Jacques-Baumel Media Library

Dates: July 2 to August 31

The photographic project Champion(ne)(s), invites us to discover three champions through the eyes of three photographers from the VU agency. These duos offer a contemporary vision of the committed athlete and challenge clichés.

Arnaud Assoumani, Aya Cissiko and Marie-Amélie Le Fur are recognized for their sporting performances, but also for their voice, carried beyond the playing fields. Actively involved in a cause, these men and women are fighting for a more responsible society and inclusive.

It is these facets – sporting, personal and committed – that photographers Adrien Selbert, Françoise Huguier and Magali Lambert illuminate with their authorial sensitivity. Fruit of the meeting between an athlete and a photographer, each series of images tells of these unique lives where surpassing oneself and openness to others are linked. Labeled Cultural Olympiad.
