It’s quite a coup that SC Bastia has just pulled off during this Mercato! By securing the services of young Amine Boutrah (24 years old), the Bastia club is clearly strengthening its offensive sector and especially recruiting this creator that it missed so much last year! It’s also a return home for the native of Porto-Vecchio!
Trained at Sporting, he was one of the very rare young players to have made the bet to stay at the club after the liquidation of 2017. A real gem, he will be incorporated into the “first” team which will play for two seasons in National 3 ! Two seasons where Boutrah will not be able to fully show his potential despite a goal still in everyone’s memory against the ACA reserve (in the N3 championship) in front of 8000 people and a boiling Armand Cesari Stadium! At the end of these two years, the attacking midfielder will be tested by Guingamp and Brest but will not be retained by either club! Amine Boutrah then decides to bounce back at Gallia Lucciana (N3) where he will spend two seasons before making the big leap to the National championship in 2021 and the US Concarneau club. In Brittany, he will let all his talent shine. His technique, his vision of the game, his liveliness have quite simply made him the best player in the National for the 22/23 season with 11 goals and 7 assists in 32 matches! He will also be the major player in Concarneau’s accession to the next level!

The doors of professionalism then open to him! From Ligue 2 to Ligue 1 and abroad, many clubs want to secure Boutrah’s services! And against all odds, it was at Vitesse Arnhem, in the Dutch 1st division, that he chose to launch his professional career. But an injury, numerous changes of coaches, and an 18-point penalty for the Dutch club will greatly complicate his first professional season! However, Amine Boutrah managed to shine by scoring 3 goals and delivering 2 assists!
Already in Sporting’s sights last year, Amine Boutrah is making his comeback to the blue house! We can bet that the presence of Frédéric Antonetti and Benoît Tavenot who was his coach at the SCB training center clearly weighed in his choice!
Amine Boutrah is already Sporting’s 5th recruit during this transfer window! He signed up for 4 seasons with the Bastia club!
