This Monday, November 18, 2024, under the gray winter weather, a construction site for 34 new housing units, old Rosporden road, in Quimper, was launched, with the traditional laying of the first stone.
At the helm: the social and departmental landlord Finistère habitat and Axiom promoter, project owner, with the agreement of the Quimper Western Brittany urban community.
Densification
“Finistère habitat is very happy to participate in the dynamism in terms of housing in Quimper”says Didier Guillon, president of the departmental social landlord.
Laurent Prat, development and heritage director for Finistère habitat, contextualizes: “The construction site is taking place in place of an old pavilion. We are in a logic of densification, in a space which was already urbanized. »
From T2 to T5
The 34 housing units will be divided into sixteen T2s, fourteen T3s, three T4s and one T5 apartment. On the ground floor, eight of the accommodations should be adapted for elderly people. All should have private gardens. Balconies are provided on the upper floors.
