Castres. Jubilar affair: Frédéric Abéla dedicates his book

A little more than three years after the disappearance of Delphine Jubillar, a 33-year-old nurse, in Cagnac-les-Mines in Tarn, Frédéric Abéla, journalist at La Dépêche du Midi, returns in a book, Jubillar the unfinished investigation, on gray areas of the matter. He will dedicate this work, published by La Dépêche du Midi, this Friday, June 28, at the Coulier bookstore, rue de la Libération, in Castres, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

In this book, Frédéric Abéla, who was able to access numerous documents from the file, takes a critical and objective look at this media news story. This book, which looks back on this extraordinary affair, is prefaced by a figure from the Toulouse bar, the lawyer Georges Catala.

In an investigation without a body, without traces or confessions, Frédéric Abéla examines the mechanisms which led to the accusation of the husband, Cédric Jubillar, despite his denials and the numerous gray areas which have never been resolved. “This book is not intended to judge in the place of justice. I am not here to say whether Cédric Jubillar is guilty or innocent but to report facts. Everyone will have their own opinion” explains the author, insisting on the need for a rigorous and neutral approach.
