Somme: rain causes flooding in Vimeu

The rain fell quickly and in quantity this Monday morning in Vimeu. Several interventions mobilized emergency services in Martainneville and Maisnières, near Gamaches, according to information from France Bleu Picardie.

In Maisnières, the town was affected by runoff from the fields. Three houses are affected, with flooding inside the homes, between 4 and 10 centimeters in basements and ground floors. The collapse of a garage wall on a pylon calls for help from Enedis. In Martainneville this time, it was a logistics transport company which saw its docks flooded.
