It’s a first ! On the occasion of the Human Tech Days, the Third Place of Skills Project Workshop (rue Frédéric-Sauvage) received four classes of students from neighboring elementary schools on Monday June 24, 2024. In the morning, CM1 from Paul-Racault followed by Clocheville school and in the afternoon CM2 from Paul-Racault and a class from Rabelais school.

These programming and robotics discovery workshops are also an opportunity for these schools to discover a site which will be officially inaugurated at the start of the school year in September.

A member of the Consortium, the SNCF foundation has joined forces for this project with the Decanum association, which is committed to promoting the values ​​of integration, discovery of technical and scientific professions and promoting diversity. “ By going to schools to meet 9/16 year olds, we want to create a dynamic that encourages young people to go into science. », Specifies Yves Nguyen Duc, president and co-founder of Decanum in Loiret.

He is accompanied by volunteers and several employee volunteers from the SNCF, as part of corporate sponsorship. Local students also participate in the supervision, like Maxime, not at all disoriented by the atmosphere. “ I passed my Bafa, so the young people I know and as I am in engineering school, these are two experiences which are linked ».

As for young people, with Lego robots, they program while having fun and do mathematics without realizing it.
