For their first home match of the season in the Nationale 1 championship, the Cahors Lot XIII players offered a big and beautiful victory to their supporters.
Opposed to a Toulouges team aiming to climb, the Cadurciens had a big match. A great performance rewarded by a big success 34 to 8 with five tries.
If the first minutes were favorable to the visitors who missed a penalty in the 3rd minute, Cahors Lot XIII quickly got their hands on the ball and on this match.
The Cadurciens took the advantage on a penalty from Joey Clou in the 10th minute before scoring their first try of the match six minutes later by Alexis Camposet following a nice feint behind the down.
Cahors Lot XIII leads 8 to 0 and soon 14 to 0 after a superb try from Killian Delage who concludes a very good Cadurcian action in the corner. Trailing 14 to 0, Toulouges reacted after half an hour of play. On a fifth down, the ball went to the wing for a corner try: 14 to 4, that's the score at the break.
The Cadurcians start the second half with the same dynamic as in the first half and four minutes after the restart, Paul Sangaré takes the interval to score a good try (20 to 4).
The players of coaches Christophe Canal and Thomas Gailhard continue their domination and add a fourth try by Alexis Camposet who, following a feint, takes the interval and ends his race in the visitor's goal.
The offensive festival of the Lotois, who added a penalty by Joey Clou in the 57th, did not stop there and just after the hour mark, Luc Gardillou, on a long kick to follow, extended the ball to the foot to flatten into the goal.
Eleven minutes from the end and despite a big defensive sequence from the Cadurciens, Toulouges scored the last try of the match which was won in fine style by the Cadurciens with a score of 34 to 8.
Next meeting for Cahors Lot XIII on Sunday December 1st in Villefranche d'.
