The first mobile gendarmerie brigade in Gard was inaugurated on Thursday November 7, 2024, in Aimargues. It is made up of five men, one woman, equipped with two cars and five electric bikes.

Objective: to reach out to the population between Nîmes and the Petite Camargue.

Environmental damage, security of votive festivals, their missions will be very varied. These daily patrols are part of the national plan to strengthen the gendarmerie, initiated a year ago.
