100% for the clubs of Indre-et-Loire! Two clubs from the department were involved in the 7e Coupe de France round and both responded. In an R1 duel, in Inzinzac-Lochrist, in Brittany, Tours FC first won painfully against US Montagnarde on Saturday.
After quickly conceding the opening score by Sankou Souaré (1-0, 5e), the Ciel et Noir equalized thanks to a header from Noah Randazzo (1-1, 42e). And at the end of the penalty shootout, and two saves from Raïs Amrani, Bryan Bergougnoux's players joined the 8e tour.

Monnaie continues its historic journey
The Modenians were perhaps inspired by it on the lawn of Fief Gesté, a D2 team, this Sunday. They were also accompanied by their loyal supporters in Maine-et-Loire with numerous banners including a very long one along the railing: “Together do it for us”.
And they did it in a very good way against a club accustomed to surprises this year after having eliminated three clubs from R3 and one from R1. But Monnaie is not one of them and even won 3-1.
Hermann Carvalho quickly opened the scoring for US Monnaie by cutting in a good cross from the right of the field (0-1, 13e). Then on a corner from the scorer, Clément Perraguin headed Evan Besnier who deceived the goalkeeper with a lobbed header (0-2, 38e).
Hermann Carvalho in all the good moves
Carvalho gave himself a second assist from a corner with a header from Clément Perraguin to add to the score (0-3, 76e). The Angevins reduced the score but too late to worry the Tourangeaux (1-3, 79e).
“You are writing a magnificent story!” »said another banner in tribute to the valiant Modenese. And this will continue with a historic display against a Ligue 2 team, Lorient, while Tours FC will host OC Cesson (N3) on November 30 or 1is December.
