At a time when digital tools are popular with customers, the city of Quimper has set up a new website: Quimper-Commerces.bzh
Created by the City, the platform was presented to traders and artisans during the trade conference in October 2023, and is now available to the general public. All the commercial vitality of Quimper (city center and neighborhoods), its assets, what makes it attractive are highlighted.
Very practical, even on a smartphone, it has three parts: shops, outings, news.
On Quimper-Commerces.bzhQuimper residents and other visitors can find:
- The Quimper merchants’ mapwith a search engine allowing you to search by neighborhood or type of business
- Informations about the Quimper markets
- Trader news having joined the platform
- A calendar of events in Quimper
- Practical information on mobility, parking and various good addresses
- & shortly : a version of the site 100% in Breton
This website promotes the digital presence of traders, but is also a showcase of the dynamism and attractiveness of the capital of Cornwall.
To date, more than 400 businesses are already listed.

Competition in May-June 2024
To promote the platform quimper-commerces.bzha competition was organized from May 25 to June 16, 2024. Dozens of artisans and traders participated, from the city center and neighborhoods.
Nearly 5,000 people tried to win one of the 140 prizes on offer.
The prizes were very diverse (objects, services, gift vouchers, etc.) and the principle was very simple:
- A customer makes a purchase in a store participating in the operation.
- A ticket with a unique code is given to him.
- The client connects to quimper-commerces.bzh and enter the code.
He would immediately find out if he had won one of the gifts at stake, as well as how to collect it.
