Fireworks show, popular dance ball and official commemoration: the city of Rambouillet, located in the Yvelines, celebrates the National Holiday with great fanfare! The municipality will meet us on Thursday July 13, 2024 to participate in the various activities linked to the National Holiday.

Rambouillet is a town located 45 kilometers from Paris, known for its château and its dense forest, which extends over 200 km². But that’s not all ! The town is also home to an important museum dedicated to model railways, the rambolitrain, but also the Palace of the King of Romethe national sheepfold and the Saint-Lubin-et-Saint-Jean-Baptiste church, listed as a historic monument. A beautiful heritage to discover!

But if you find yourself in Rambouillet, this Thursday July 13, 2024, it’s good for partying! The city celebrates July 14th a day in advance, but with a festive and family programming. Find out in detail what awaits you.

On the program for the national holiday in Rambouillet:

  • Patriotic ceremony at 5 p.m. – Place André Thome
    The patriotic ceremony in commemoration of the storming of the Bastille in 1789 will be held on Saturday July 13, 2024 at 5 p.m., at the War Memorial located at Place A. Thome and J. Thome-Patenôtre.
  • Pyrotechnic show at 10:45 p.m. – Rondeau site, Château park
    Enjoy a magnificent pyrotechnic show in the Château park, at the Rondeau site !
  • Ball until 1:30 a.m. – Place Félix Faure

Access to the Château park:

  • Gates open at 8:30 p.m.
  • Visual inspection and bag search
  • Ban on all objects that could endanger public safety
  • Pets not allowed

The fireworks is obviously accessible free and free for everyone. Good National Holiday to each and all !
