In front of a hundred noisy ultras from Pau, the Béarnais found the fault at their first opportunity when Boutaïb headed a cross from Arconte unleashed on his right flank (0-1, 5th). This same Boutaïb misses the double when, on a cross from Evan's, Mboup steps aside for the experienced center forward from Pau who fails to hit.
Served by Bobichon, Mboup finds himself facing Portets but hits the Bayonne goalkeeper (22nd). On a restart, Evan's accelerates but hits Laprevotte and remains groggy for a few moments (27th).
Two goals just before the break
