The toll is heavy: one person, aged 28, could not be saved. An ambulance from Loire-Atlantique and two Samu teams from Mayenne and Loire-Atlantique were also on site, while traffic was cut off in both directions during the intervention. The latter will have lasted several hours.

Three vehicles are involved in a collision which allegedly took place while overtaking.
