The 9th edition will take place on Saturday, December 7 thanks to the EARP (Entente athletique romanaise tolloise) with the support of the City of Romans.
Beyond a sporting challenge, the Urban Trail of Romans is also and above all a fun race. Amateur or experienced runners, everyone can participate from the age of fifteen, whether licensed or not by the French Athletics Federation, upon presentation and this is a new feature.a health prevention course certificate less than three months old. Minors must also present parental authorization.
Departure, place Maurice-Faure
On Saturday December 7, a collective warm-up will be offered at Place Maurice-Faure for runners who wish to do so from 7:30 p.m. The circuit will take all the roads in the city, from the smoothest to the most chaotic, crossing right through the historic center. Small variation in 2024: the circuit will pass through Place du Chapter and cross the length and breadth of François-Mitterrand Park.

300 or 600 steps
Runners will have a superb view of the illuminated city and its collegiate church. Two distances to choose from: a 6.5 km loop et another of 13 km. In both circuits, riders will have to climb hundreds of steps (300 for the short course and 600 for the long course). Finally, this race is a solidarity race because four euros per runner will be donated to the AFM (French Association against Myopathies) Telethon.
