It's a real drama which took place in Massoulès, a small town in Lot-et-Garonne. This Saturday, November 16, 2024, at 7:40 a.m., firefighters were engaged at Chemin Labarthe to remove from the water a light vehicle that had fallen into a lake.
After intervention by the specialized nautical team, an 18 year old man was pulled up to the surface and brought back to shore.
The 18-year-old young man died
The victim was declared dead by the SMUR doctor at 8:51 a.m. Did she drown inside her car? Is this a desperate act or accident ?
No less than 17 rescuers were dispatched to the scene. According to initial information, the victim would be a young man living in Tarn-et-Garonne.
The exact circumstances of this case are not yet known but gendarmerie investigation is open to find out more about this drama.
