Nature is in the spotlight with the artist Ad Minoliti from Argentina through an exhibition at the Portique, and with a creation for birds, at the Jardins Suspendus, as part of the eighth edition of Un Été au Havre (Seine-Maritime).

The exhibition, all in colorruns until September 29. Painted walls, colorful objects, paintings… It’s a world full of joy that comes to the Portico thanks to the artist Ad Minoliti. “This exhibition is in connection with the season” expresses Gaël Charbau, artistic director of Un Été au Havre.

I wanted to work on the concept of nature from different points of view, with abstraction, through painting, collages and figures of nature like animals, flowers…

A “Bird Hotel” at the Hanging Gardens

Ad Minoliti “had carte blanche to produce a work intended for Un Été au Havre” explains Gaël Charbau. “She wanted to create a space to welcome wildlife » he adds. The totem, designed with an ornithological association, houses nesting boxes for birds.

The work 6 meters, made of wood, stands out from afar, as do the two planted benches that accompany it. “This is the first time I have had the opportunity to do something outdoors. Swallows, robins and other kinds of birds will be able to come and eat and rest,” explains the artist.
