The FFF has just revealed its ranking of French club training centers in Ligue 1, Ligue 2 and the National Championship. Discover the ranking of the FC Metz training center.
It is now a tradition, each year the French Football Federation evaluates the training centers of Ligue 1, Ligue 2 and National clubs according to five criteria. The rate of professionalization, the playing time in the first team granted to players, the number of national selections, academic success and representation on the European continent. In 2022/2023, FC Metz was ranked sixth in Ligue 2. This year, the club’s training center at Croix de Lorraine rose to thirteenth place in this ranking.
The National Technical Directorate (DTN) of the FFF examined the training centers of thirty-three clubs during the 2023-2024 season: the eighteen from Ligue 1, eleven from Ligue 2 and four from the National. At the top of the ranking, it is once again Stade Rennais who wins the prize, followed again and again by Olympique Lyonnais. Note that PSG ranks third in this ranking to the detriment of AS Monaco.
