The Entente Nord Lozère, in Regional 2, hosts the Football club Riomois at the Baïsse stadium for a new day of the Laura Cup, Saturday November 16, 2024 at 5 p.m.
This weekend, the Entente Nord Lozère is taking a little break from the championship. The Énélistes welcome the Football club Riomois (Regional 1) to their home field for the third round of the Laura Cup. The kick-off will be given on Saturday November 16, 2024, at 5 p.m., at the Baïsse stadium (Saint-Alban-sur-Limagnole).
Undefeated since September
It's a great meeting that is looming between a Lozère team which is starting to regain confidence this season, facing a Riom team which is playing in a higher category.
The green and white have been undefeated since the end of September and their heavy defeat against Le Puy in the Coupe de France. After eliminating AMS Sansacoise (3-0) during the second round of the Laura Cup, the Lozériens continue to gain strength and string together good performances even if they struggle to bring back victories. Facing them, the Riomois remain on three consecutive victories and are only four points from the podium of their group in Regional 1.
The promise of a beautiful meeting
“It's a very interesting draw for us, it promises a great meeting, said ENL coach Lilian Condon. We don't really know the team in front. We know that they have qualities, but personally I don't give it any importance, I am attached to us, to our game and what we are going to offer.”
Even if the Laura Cup is only a secondary competition for the ENL, the team intends to approach this match seriously. It will allow certain players who have worked hard in recent days to recover, which will help avoid injuries and overwork. This meeting also aims to give playing time to certain elements who will have the opportunity to prove themselves this weekend.
Lilian Condon hopes, thanks to these small changes in the squad, to find offensive solutions, an area which is not the strong point of the Saint-Albanians at the start of the season.
We can therefore expect a rise in Romain Farge's group. The Lozerian striker performed very well in the reserve team and his qualities as an eye-catching and impactful player will bring something extra to the squad.
