The Professional Football League (LFP) has published the 2024/2025 championship calendar. In Ligue 1, during the first day on Friday August 16, 2024, the HAC will have the privilege of hosting the reigning champion. The next day, Stade Malherbe will host the other Parisian club, one of the strong teams in Ligue 2.

The Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 calendars were revealed this Friday, June 21, 2024. And they have some surprises in store for the Normandy clubs!

When should Paris Saint-Germain play? A few days before a European Cup match when the players have the lead for the next meeting? At the end of the season when the championship is over? Or in the heart of summer when the big teams are still getting used to it?

This month of August will perhaps provide some answer. Le Havre hit the jackpot for the first day of the championship on Friday August 16. PSG will come to challenge the HAC in an Océane stadium which should logically be full.

Ligue 1: the 2024/2025 calendar

We will have to wait until the fall to see a Ligue 1 big name again at the Océane stadium. LOSC will come to Le Havre on September 29. Lyon is expected on October 20.

Stade Malherbe will begin its season on Saturday August 17 at home. The chance of the draw meant that the second Norman club faced the second Parisian club. Last year, Paris FC was one of Caen’s rivals in the fight for a play-off place.

This year, the PFC will once again be one of the ambitious clubs. This first match will already set the tone.

Ligue 2: the 2024/2025 calendar

In Caen too, autumn promises to be a busy one with receptions in Ajaccio and Amiens in September and those in Lorient and Bordeaux in October. The Stade Malherbe will then be fixed on its level.
