The trophy presentation for the Territoria 2024 Awards was held this Wednesday, November 13 at the National Assembly. This year, Moselle received the Special “Fraternity” Prize.
An annual distinction aimed at promoting the innovations of local authorities, this year the Territoria Prize rewarded the Department of Moselle for its “Brotherhood”. Community projects are evaluated according to three main criteria: innovation, ability to be taken up by other communities and good use of public funds. For 2024, the Territoria Prize jury distinguished 53 winners, i.e. 18 Territoria Gold, 19 Silver, 15 Bronze and 1 Fraternity, won by our department.
The Fraternity Prize
For several years now, the Fraternity Prize has been integrated into the Territoria awards. It highlights an exemplary initiative which embodies the values of solidarity and fraternity within French communities. The Department of Moselle obtained this prize thanks to its “RELAI: Remobilization towards Employment via Intermediary Associations” project. The system has been aimed at farmers since 2018, and it is now open to Accommodation Establishments for Dependent Elderly People (EHPAD). In 2023, RELAI made 229 services available within 205 different structures. The system has enabled more than a hundred people to find employment. A symbol of social bond and inclusion for the benefit of residents, RELAI could serve as an example to other communities, hence its title of Fraternal.
