After the creation of a garden of remembrance, created during the former mandate, the Town Hall of Meulan-en- once again invested in its cemetery this year. Two columbariums have in fact been added in recent months for the sum of 35,000 euros, while work to repair the retaining wall was undertaken after a collapse, for an unforeseen cost of nearly 80,000 euros.

“In order to improve user comfort, the cemetery fountains will be renovated and new accessories have already been made available to improve their functionality and aesthetics,” adds the City. On the Magnanville side too, we worked to beautify the place with two new water points, new benches, or even an enlargement of the square in front of the war memorial. In the coming weeks, the community cemetery will see other actions such as the installation of a totem in the memorial garden, the installation of new baskets or the installation of a watering can dispenser with a token system. “The City will also invest in automatic opening/closing,” adds the municipality on its website.
