350 people remain at the dock for almost 2 hours

The consequences for rail users were immediate during this rush hour. The SNCF teams first issued a first alert message to its users around 7:20 p.m., to warn them that traffic was interrupted between Creil and in both directions to allow emergency services to intervene.

This fatal accident then forced this train and its 350 passengers to park for 2 hours at this railway stop, which caused major delays on the network.

Traffic resumes around 9 p.m.

“No one fell on the platform accidentally,” said the mayor, Christophe Dietrich, who had not had to report a fatal accident at this station for several years.
