A great recognition for the Jura company

It was the first time that Lacroix Emballages, which generally presents itself in a professional agri-food network, has benefited from such visibility among the general public.
« It's a real pride to say that we have one of our packaging which was selected by the department, the region, then by the Élysée », Confides Marie-Laure Maitenaz, Communications Manager of the company, recalling that the file was compiled in March-April 2024 and that the final response came in July. This exhibition therefore represents “ a great recognition of our wooden packaging, our know-how, our company which has existed since 1946 and our skills », she adds.

A product with environmental and local qualities

Made from poplar, a light wood from French poplar groves, some of which are located in Saône-et- and which belong to Lacroix Emballages, the trays meet food safety standards and are naturally suitable for food contact. “ Poplar allows direct contact with food », underlines Marie-Laure Maitenaz, emphasizing the importance of promoting local resources.
