Gard: two associations winning the Solidarity Energy call for projects

Since 2023, the organization Solidarity Energyin partnership with the region, supports associations carrying out projects to combat energy poverty. This year, two structures from were selected as part of the call for projects.

Created in 2017, the Solidarity Energy Endowment Fund, recognized as being of general interest, is actively engaged against energy poverty, a phenomenon which affects nearly 12 million people in . It collects donations from renewable energy players to finance associations that support vulnerable households.

With this in mind, the structure collaborates with local authorities to implement innovative and efficient projects. This year again, five associations in Occitania stood out and were selected to benefit from the organization's support.

In Gard, two organizations will be awarded exceptional financial aid to support the realization of their projects. Service Entraide Porestans will thus receive more than 40,050 euros, while Soliha Méditerranée will benefit from aid of 45,000 euros. Substantial sums which will allow them to continue and develop their actions throughout the Gard territory.
