According to Actu.fr, forecasts predict significant precipitation, especially between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m., during which yellow vigilance will be in effect. In addition to rain, strong gusts of wind are expected across the entire department. Wind speeds are expected to vary, reaching 60 km/h in Sées and Domfront, 65 km/h in Mortagne-au-Perche, L'Aigle, and Alençon, up to 75 km/h in Tinchebray.
Vigilance extended to neighboring departments
This alert also concerns the neighboring departments, in particular Manche, Calvados, Eure, Eure-et-Loir, and Sarthe, which are also placed on yellow alert. Residents in these areas are advised to remain cautious during these unstable weather conditions.
